My favorite snubby is the S&W model 60 .357 magnum with smooth, round unfluted cylinder. Nice grip, balance, very strong, and easy to conceal. When I saw this honey today there was no way that I was going home without it. Anyone else have a favorite snubby? What are the pros, the cons, everything? S&W, Taurus, Ruger, Colt...whatever, they're all welcome here.

No doubt from my collection is an old S&W Model 10, .38 special. Carried by two uncles and my father, all of whom are deceased. This is the most accurate snubby I have ever shot, really quite amazing. Refitted with a set of rubber grips, it's a nice piece.

Thats a very nice j-frame flameryder!! I've never seen one with the un-fluted cylinder before; I like it! I'd like to get a early M60 in .38 or a M37 Airweight someday.
My current short bbl carry gun is this M66, although it now wears a set of elk stag grips.....................

Colt Detective Special is the all-time best snubbie ever.
But I've got one of these on order:

Don't have one, but I think the Taurus "Judge" loaded with .410 gauge double ought buckshot would be effective.

I've seen what they can do, real nasty.

Would really like to find something like this that would work well in an ankle holster.
