Hope you have a great day! Too bad it fell on a Wednesday this year - it would have been nice to have a long weekend out of it.

Pretty hard to find fireworks in Alberta. Easier in British Columbia. I remember as a kid buying fireworks and firecrackers. The firecrackers were the most fun and I think they are now illegal in Canada.

As for beer, Kokanee is my favourite Canadian Beer!

Happy Canada Day............I happened to be in Canada last year on Canada Day. A girl and her boyfriend asked us for a few dollars for a hamburger.......told us where the fireworks were going to be. It was nice .....not sure about the hamburger though.....:wonderlan:)

Went for a ride this morning and the neighbors are getting together for fireworks tonight.
We can buy them in Ontario legit, and the crackers that are illiegal we get from the Natives.



And a happy Canada day to all our troops posted in Afganhistan and elsewhere.

:caflag: Happy Belated Canada Day!

Sorry I missed the post yesterday ... was out from the crack o' dawn participating in our Canada Day Parade & local festivities. Fortunately there are no firecrackers permitted here, except on Halloween, but there was a public fireworks show over near Canada Place (http://www.canadadayfireworks.ca/) last night.

I took Thu & Fri off to make it an extra long weekend. Going to take Dogstar Jr. for some father-son time with a leisurely ride tomorrow over to Gibsons & up along the coast for the day. Summer has arrived!!! :banana :tour
