So what is that about five or six people passing on now..........
I remember him best for The Streets Of San Francisco.....always enjoyed that show.
RIP
Starring in school plays, he developed his passion for acting, which he was able to nurture after he won a scholarship to attend Chicago's Goodman Theatre.
It was there that he met fellow student Mona Greenberg, who he married in 1938. The couple enjoyed one of Hollywood's most enduring marriages, celebrating their 70th anniversary last December.

By all accounts, a great man.....the kind of guy you never heard ANYTHING about...which, in Hollywood, is a good thing...tho I AM aware he did a lot of good, quietly in charity...only because I lived in L.A. for a while...
Lived to a grand old age...
God Bless and RIP, Karl...

What a great actor!! He was great in Streetcar Named Desire. My favorite Kark Malden performance was in Baby Doll...He was great! Eli Wallach and Carroll Baker were great in it also. One of my favorite movies, see it if you never have!!!
