Billy SkippyRay 3rd December 2004, 18:11 Thanks, for everyones comments. I am going to bob the rear fender this weekend and then ceramic coat the top part of the pipes (from the head to the stepped portion of the pipe) black. Lots of BLACK a little CHROME. gearhead 3rd December 2004, 18:24 are you goint to bob it yourself? if so, if you could take some pics of the process and how it goes. If you can/dont mind anyway. I'm interested in doing that as well. Thanks. SkippyRay 3rd December 2004, 19:12 Yeah Im thinking on how high I should go With it. I mean i bought a metal cutting wheel so I have to use it right? You buy you must use, or so I tell my wife. I will take a few sanps of thr progress. After looking at the bike I may black out the struts as well. Too much chrome make my head hurt. I'll keep you posted. SkippyRay 6th January 2005, 16:46 Gearhead, I bobbed the fender last night it looks great!!!! I also wrapped my pipes with black DEI exhaust Wrap. I did not take pictures of the job but i can in detail explain it to you if you PM me. I can post a slide show detailing what I did and how. I am really impressed with the way it looks. The exhaust wrap looks stellar!!!!!! Anyone have any info on taking care of wrap and if silicone spray is neccesary. Will post new pics when it warms up and I can clean it up need to touch up the rear fender with paint and a little buffing with a low grit wheel on drummel. Gyahmers 6th January 2005, 17:39 I like the blacked-out cylinders, cases and the extras you have. The paint is sweet too! :D SkippyRay 6th January 2005, 17:39 anyone feel free to comment on Exhaust wrap and the care and maint of iot. If you like it or not. Gary 6th January 2005, 19:41 SkippyRay, I really like wht you have done, that bike looks great.
