I'd like to organize a group buy from Panoptix, makers of 7 Eye Eyewear. I've owned a couple of pairs and love their 24/7 lenses. I barely have any luggage space, so being able to wear one pair of glasses all the time is so convenient.

Let me know if anyone is interested in this!

I'd be interested. Would it be a purchase of one particular model we all agreed to or a discount for anything in the product line as long as the total number of orders met a certain threshold?

I'm waiting on a reply back to see what they will honor, either one specific model or a discount throughout, I'll keep you guys posted. If anything, I'd really like to see a discount on any of their 24/7 lenses, they can really get up there in price.

I'll let you know as soon as I know! :D

I've usually found that fully sealed glasses make your eyes sweat and they fog up real fast- same problems here?

They've actualy got some pretty cool ones in the "closeout" section...
So, you've used the 24/7 lenses? Do they work good?
I've owned a few pairs from other vendors that claimed to do that as well, and they were'nt that great...

i have a pair of the Churadas.
they work very well but are not really good in very bright sunshine.
they are quite expensive.
i also have a pair of Wiley X SG-1 glasses that have interchangeable lenses, are quite good in bright sunshine, and convert to goggles as well.

All glasses will fog up when they are sealed with foam, but they don't seem to be as bad with the 7 eye lenses...maybe they breath a little more once you get moving?

The 24/7 lenses are great...the first few times I wore them I could see the change in darkness as I was driving. As clears they're still tinted slightly which is nice to keep oncoming traffic glare to a minimum. I've now owned 2 pairs, my brother has owned one himself and we swear by them.

Picky picky...lol...I've suggested to 7 Eye that it's an all over discount...I'm still waiting to hear back.

I will let you all know as soon as I know something! :)

You can just go to their site and look around, www.7eye.com I'm still waiting to hear how the discount is going to work, so I don't know if they're going to limit which models, or just give us an all over percentage off.

So I finally got a reply; Since 7 eye doesn't compete with any of their retailers, they suggested I go to a local retailer and see if they want to do any type of a group buy in.

I will continue to look into this and let you all know what I find. I know at least one of the HD dealers here is a 7 eye dealer...

I might be interested. Seems like they could just offer forum members a coupon code to use at checkout.

I thought their current promotion was 50% off, but it's actually 50% off a second pair....:( It's worded pretty vaguely.
