View Full Version : 7 Eye Glasses
Michel1977 20th July 2009, 13:52 I'd like to organize a group buy from Panoptix, makers of 7 Eye Eyewear. I've owned a couple of pairs and love their 24/7 lenses. I barely have any luggage space, so being able to wear one pair of glasses all the time is so convenient.
Let me know if anyone is interested in this!

BrianRides 20th July 2009, 14:17 I might be down for that.
trosga1 20th July 2009, 23:41 I'd be interested. Would it be a purchase of one particular model we all agreed to or a discount for anything in the product line as long as the total number of orders met a certain threshold?
vagabond65 21st July 2009, 02:12 very possibly interested.
don flamingo 21st July 2009, 02:45 Interested depending on what the discount is...
Michel1977 21st July 2009, 16:43 I'm waiting on a reply back to see what they will honor, either one specific model or a discount throughout, I'll keep you guys posted. If anything, I'd really like to see a discount on any of their 24/7 lenses, they can really get up there in price.
I'll let you know as soon as I know! :D
darett 21st July 2009, 16:49 Id love to but I loose/break/fly 'em off my head goin down the interstate, that I cant pay that much for glasses
Bikerchk 21st July 2009, 17:03 I'm interested if they allow a discount on multiple models- I won't be able to wear the same frames as the guys....

Fat Tony 21st July 2009, 23:26 Interested depending on what the discount is...
Same here.
Stevodod 27th July 2009, 06:04 I've usually found that fully sealed glasses make your eyes sweat and they fog up real fast- same problems here?

thegev 27th July 2009, 06:19 Count me in if the price is right and if the model's my taste.
Blaze 27th July 2009, 06:54 They've actualy got some pretty cool ones in the "closeout" section...
So, you've used the 24/7 lenses? Do they work good?
I've owned a few pairs from other vendors that claimed to do that as well, and they were'nt that great...
Grim 2nd August 2009, 03:35 I'd be interested if it was a good price
Rehit 2nd August 2009, 04:12 i have a pair of the Churadas.
they work very well but are not really good in very bright sunshine.
they are quite expensive.
i also have a pair of Wiley X SG-1 glasses that have interchangeable lenses, are quite good in bright sunshine, and convert to goggles as well.

All glasses will fog up when they are sealed with foam, but they don't seem to be as bad with the 7 eye lenses...maybe they breath a little more once you get moving?

The 24/7 lenses are great...the first few times I wore them I could see the change in darkness as I was driving. As clears they're still tinted slightly which is nice to keep oncoming traffic glare to a minimum. I've now owned 2 pairs, my brother has owned one himself and we swear by them.

Picky picky...lol...I've suggested to 7 Eye that it's an all over discount...I'm still waiting to hear back.
I will let you all know as soon as I know something! :)
JoeFriday77 6th August 2009, 04:19 I would be interested depending on the discount and models offered.
rocketmangb 6th August 2009, 04:32 if you have astigmatism you cant wear them

You can just go to their site and look around, www.7eye.com I'm still waiting to hear how the discount is going to work, so I don't know if they're going to limit which models, or just give us an all over percentage off.
Michel1977 10th August 2009, 14:27 So I finally got a reply; Since 7 eye doesn't compete with any of their retailers, they suggested I go to a local retailer and see if they want to do any type of a group buy in.
I will continue to look into this and let you all know what I find. I know at least one of the HD dealers here is a 7 eye dealer...
Hot Rod Sporty 10th August 2009, 14:54 I might be interested. Seems like they could just offer forum members a coupon code to use at checkout.
I thought their current promotion was 50% off, but it's actually 50% off a second pair....:( It's worded pretty vaguely.
DFCapone 10th August 2009, 15:09 well it was a nice try. ill never own a pair now. i just cant see myslef paying 140 for glassees.
CamaroRick 15th February 2010, 00:47 anyone get pricing? i might be interested
radeschultz 15th February 2010, 01:36 They look to be nice no doubt, but I gotta say for the price, these (http://www.biker-glasses.com/) have been working great for me...
humpbackbob 15th February 2010, 04:03 Jeeze. I just looked at the price for RX lenses.......they are around $400.00. They must be real proud of them glasses.
