View Full Version : Saw an Accident last week It was ME>>>
connorleeneil13 13th April 2005, 04:00 My sportster has been in bits for a month or so now (doing 1200 conversion), so I decided to take out the Yammy DT for a spin up the mountains, havin a great time just ridin by myself, decided to go down this steep mountain bike track at high speed (I will never learn), came across this great lookin jump up ahead so I gunned it and woohooo didn't I take off only prob was the push bike track turned a sharp left, while I was still in the air, well nothing left to do except brace for impact against a couple of large trees.
The result broken my left hand in three places (thankfully I am right handed), two broken ribs and battered pride.
....

Dyeranged 29th April 2005, 14:59 Sorry to hear about your bad fortune. I bounced off the pavement last week on my new 1200C. Riding too fast around a curve and just lost it. Fortunately I'm able to be typing this. Just a big bruise on my left side and and bruised ribs. Now for the really
important thing. My bike is fine, I was able to ride it home just bent handlebars and shifter. A few scrapes nothing real major should be out on the So Cal roads soon.
