I bought a new L.E.D. kit to change the light colors in my speedometer on my 09 Nightster. The problem is that my speedo seems to be a sealed unit. It does not have any screws to take it apart. Has anyone done this? Does it twist apart? The package for the LED's says it's for all harley's with electronic speedometer's.
Just in case anyone is wondering...I'm refering to AFTER I removed it from the stock housing and unpluged it.
Thanks!

I'll be watching this one - I'd love to do the same to mine
What are the available LED colors?

I just read on another site that you have to pry up all around the ring on the speedo. I don't like the idea, because I'm afraid it will look all out of shape when I try to put back on and bend it back down. If I'm even able to. But anyways, thats how you do it.

FD911, please don't post identical duplicate threads in different sections. Decide what one section it should go in, and leave it at that.
Thanks.
And the speedo is a sealed unit.
