Here's a question for those of you who are a bit braver than I perhaps....

Has anyone taken a bullet type turn signal apart? I want to put the front signals on the back, so I will have running lights.....trouble is, the housings are not exactly the same, making attachment kind of an arts and crafts affair.

I'd rather just exchange the socket itself, but I don't want to destroy the signal to do it....

Any insight?

Thanx!

You can buy and easy to install kit that will convert your rear signals to running lights/turn signals. It is a module that plugs into your existing wire harness. You can get them through kuryakyn and I think HD offers one too depending on your year and model. I helped my buddy install one on his Dyna and it took a whole 10 minutes.

Bert's how to install the rear turn signal relocation kit howto on the old site, has a little bit about removing the trun signal bulb housings. Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it might help some.

I was sure it was on the old site.....I remember it...

Unfortunately, I'll have to contact Bert. It says I'm not authorized, but of course, I am...

Thanx Gary....
