I wanted to upgrade the aluminum levers on my '04 1200C, so this past winter I bought levers from JC Whitney because they were cheaper than Harley. Now I know why. They don't fit! The holes have these stupid plastic spacers to make them supposedly fit, but they are the wrong size. Luckily, they do fit my '88 FLHS so I used them there, but I'm not real happy with the action. The plastic spacers seem to add more friction, and if your familair with the pull on the BT of the '80s, you know added friction is a bitch. I would have returned them, but since I bought them months ago, I don't have a receipt, etc. Live and learn, next time I pay the extra for Harley stuff, I know it will fit.
