Does anyone know what size tap to use on the points cover? i really dont like them rivits in there, too much of a hassle. :smoke

Use a small drill bit, then progressively larger bits till you can pick out the remnanents with a needle nose. stevo 4th December 2004, 23:57 Drill the rivets out with a 5/32" drill bit you will the see that a cover is screwed into the posts that hold the hall sensor pick up plate in situ. undo the screws and take them down to your local hardware store and get some new ones a bit longer...shit get a few lengths.... You can then screw the cover back on...the only prob bein that is 90 degrees out... get yaself a big twin one, as the holes are 90 degrees different to a sporty and abbra cadabra....ya done rottenralph 5th December 2004, 01:50 Or get one of these.
