I hate bulkey DOT helmets. Can anyone suggest a Daytona type helmat that may not meet DOT standards, but does offer some protection?

They look very low profile while still being able to take a hit. Geek 23rd April 2005, 04:17 Thanks Skratch. I actually found them today for a buddy of mine. He just bought a 05 softail standard yesterday and he was looking for something for his 5 year old daughter to wear. I will let him know. gringle84 23rd April 2005, 08:49 http://www.nexlsports.com/ I use the beanie and at 1 lb. 6 oz. and DOT approved it's very comfortable.
