I left out an important part of the review...I was being distracted by a party going on here :p
How does the 3" HurricaneFlow feel?: not putting any stars here, I think this will be an individual assessment. However, be aware that it will change your riding position if you have the forward controls.
My observations: I ride using essentially two positions: straight ahead crusing, and covered. During crusing, usually on the interstate or away from traffic, my right foot is positioned so that the toe of my boot falls just to the right of the brake pedal. In this position, the extended ham-can offers little or no obstruction. I can feel it just touching my leg. Riding in a covered position, my right foot is positioned such that the toes are directly over the brake pedal. In this position the extended ham-can is definitely felt. I find that my right leg is in tight contact with the ham-can. However, I can rotate my right heel outward a bit, still maintaining full cover over the brake pedal, and lessen the contact if I choose. I found that I adapted to the new position within just a few seconds. After a few miles it was barely noticeable. This morning when I got on my bike though, I went through the same adaptive process again. I suspect after a few days I won't even notice it. Making a change to improve performance, in this case, required me to move my leg a bit. A small price to pay for the increase in efficiency I think this mod has brought. :tour
