Man,

It has been a deadly and sad weekend here in WA.

2 wrecks in the news this weekend.

A dad was giving his daughter her first ride and some a-hole in a cage crosses the road and killed them both.

Second event were two bike riding side by side and one crashed. All the news lady could say was "it's unknown whether he was wearing his helmet" What diff does it make, he's still dead.

I was choked up on the daughter story, as I gave my son his first ride a couple of weekend's ago.

I scared myself this weekend by not paying attention and drifting outside in a turn and pretty close to a truck in the opposing lane. I'm still getting used to the extra weight of my 1200 compared to the 650 dual sport I had been riding.

Be safe and take care.

And then to top off this weekend, I get a call from my sister (sporty rider), that a family friend had wrecked his hog and broken most of the bones in his face and bit off his own tongue (unable to find tongue).

God bless him, he's had a rough life, hepatitis and now a bad wreck. What a crappy weekend with regards to wrecks.

We had a poor soul T-boned the other day. Old lady blew a stop sign.

All you can do is ride man. Be careful, do what you can, and ride. My brother fell just two feet off a scaffolding, damn near died from kidney failure and three years later can still barely walk.

Taking your son for that ride will be with him forever.
