If the sky's the limit then you can put on a 200 or a 250 if you want but that involves some major work. NXC1978 5th May 2005, 19:46 Ive been wondering the same thing (I mean with out altering the swing arm or frame). I hear you can go up to 150, but I am not sure. Can anyone confirm??? suarezrh 6th May 2005, 20:19 i've heard 150 too on pre 03 sportys. leo_frantic 6th May 2005, 20:54 I've done a 150 with chain on a 2002. NXC1978 6th May 2005, 21:06 Leo- Got any pictures you could share??? What parts did you need to purchase? Is there a kit available? Can I keep my stock fender with the conversion? engine 7th May 2005, 01:36 My 89 with chain, 130 seems pretty tight. I guess with different wheel spacing, a 150 will fit, but super close... leo_frantic 7th May 2005, 21:29 Leo- Got any pictures you could share??? What parts did you need to purchase? Is there a kit available? Can I keep my stock fender with the conversion? I converted that for a customer last year ... sorry, no pics. For that one, we did a wider wheel, ofcourse a 150 tire, front and rear sprockets, and chain. We did a different fender, so I'm not sure if the stock fender would have fit (I would guess it would not.) :( If you are going to have to change the rear fender anyway, check out the wide tire kits on my website as another option. NYSPORTY 8th May 2005, 00:00 you can put a 150 tire without any mods i just did my 2001 xl c ill post some pics at the end of this week my bik3e is aslo lowered NXC1978 10th May 2005, 16:06 Cool, thanks for the info! My 04 1200 has a 150 standard. I wonder if there's room for a 160!?!?!?
