Not that I know the answer but I assume you mean how wide can you go with the stock swingarm by switching from belt to chain right?

If the sky's the limit then you can put on a 200 or a 250 if you want but that involves some major work.

Ive been wondering the same thing (I mean with out altering the swing arm or frame). I hear you can go up to 150, but I am not sure. Can anyone confirm???

Leo- Got any pictures you could share??? What parts did you need to purchase? Is there a kit available? Can I keep my stock fender with the conversion?

My 89 with chain, 130 seems pretty tight. I guess with different wheel spacing, a 150 will fit, but super close...

I converted that for a customer last year ... sorry, no pics. For that one, we did a wider wheel, ofcourse a 150 tire, front and rear sprockets, and chain. We did a different fender, so I'm not sure if the stock fender would have fit (I would guess it would not.) :(

If you are going to have to change the rear fender anyway, check out the wide tire kits on my website as another option.

Big Boar Products makes a kit for a 200, I am about to order and start the project, I will post the pics as it goes, major mods, but not difficult.

My 04 1200 has a 150 standard. I wonder if there's room for a 160!?!?!? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... :D I also found a site: http://www.cas4.com/Wide-Tire/230-xl-kit-03.htm that has 240 mm kits for Sporty's including 04/05 models. looks too cool.
