June 23rd is the date set for J&P Cycles® 28th Annual Open House Celebration! J&P Cycles® annual Customer Appreciation day has grown over the years to become one of the largest motorcycle events in the Midwest. Last year over 10,000 motorcyclists joined J&P® owners John and Jill Parham for their free event. John and Jill hold the event each spring to thank their customers and local community for their continued support of J&P Cycles®. The event will take place at the company's headquarters, 1 mile north of Anamosa, IA, just off U.S. Highway 151, from 8am to 5pm. Be sure to join them for a fantastic day of family motorcycle fun!

Motorcycle events taking place throughout the day at J&P® include a motorcycle rodeo, a ride-in bike show, free food and drink, DJ music and the Easyriders® Joe Teresi Dyno Drag Semi. Michele Smith from SPEED's American Thunder TV show will be on hand signing autographs and builder Cory Ness will be there to debut his new J&P Cycles® Custom Bagger motorcycle. The Road Hazard's Extreme Team motorcycle stunt show will take place throughout the day and a silent auction will once again be held to benefit the National Motorcycle Museum. Finally, don't miss your chance to see "Big Toe and Little Toe". These amazing bikes hold records in the Guinness book of World Records as the Tallest and Smallest Rideable motorcycles in the world! J&P Cycles® also has some special activities planned just for the kids so bring the whole family!

In addition to these events, you'll save big throughout the day on J&P Cycles® enormous inventory of parts and accessories. As always, most products in J&P® 's giant showroom will be 10% off (Up to 15% for Gold Club Members) and a portion of their one-acre warehouse will be devoted to drastically reduced clearance items.

Both J&P Cycles® Showroom Semis will be on display featuring some of their coolest products and you can win part of over $5000 in door prizes! Plus, sign up for your chance to win the 2007 J&P Cycles®/ Easyriders® Build-A-Bike Sweepstakes Bike!

Last but not least, attendees can talk with representatives of the industry's leading manufacturers. Arlen Ness, Bikers Choice, Custom Chrome®, Drag Specialties®, Kuryakyn™, Memphis Shades, Mid USA®, Performance Machine, Progressive Suspension Samson Exhaust and S&S Cycle are just a few of the companies that will be on hand to show off their Hot New products and talk with customers.

As mentioned before, once again this year J&P® will hold a silent auction benefitting the National Motorcycle Museum. Motorcycle parts, accessories and collectors items donated by J&P® and its distributors will be auctioned off to the public. The museum is a national treasure that is near and dear to J&P®'s heart. With over 200 antique motorcycles, memorabilia, clothing, art, books and other motorcycle related items from as far back as 1904, it is a must see. Be sure to stop downtown and visit the Museum at 200 E Main Street. The museum looks forward to celebrating with J&P® and welcoming motorcyclists throughout the weekend.

The motorcycle rodeo is free to all entrants and brave riders can participate in events such as the barrel race, the slow race and, of course, the famous weenie bite, which requires an equally-brave passenger. Ride-in-bike show registration will begin at 9am and is limited to 50 bikes. Registration is $10 and awards will be given away
at 3pm.

ABATE of Iowa - District 5 will also be holding their "Motorcycle Madness" camping weekend (Friday and Saturday) just a few miles from J&P at the Izaak Walton League grounds. There will be live music, camping, food, a shuttle to and from the J&P Cycles Open House and much more. For further information on this event call 319-330-8559.
