This began life as a 1991 Buell RS1200. One of the builders from the S&S build off a few years ago. I think his last name was Todd. Built this for a friend of his named Al in New York. This bike was Al's pride and joy. He took exceptional care of it. It was built to be unique, reliable and a fun bike. They accomplished it. It is very comfortable and could easily be a daily rider. I have had it here with me for about a week and it is an attention getter for sure. It runs pretty good too. Not the all out monster my S1 is, but plenty of power and at 60-70 mph, you can barely hear it running. Enjoy the pictures. Taking it back to it's new owner tomorrow. Jimmy

What a gorgeous bike.
I'm a little surprised it doesn't smoke your 1250cc S1?

Maybe I tend to ride my bike a little harder. But here is my impression. The S1 is a brute, power everywhere from 2500 to redline. The force pipe just roars, so at 70mph it sounds like you are going 170.

The turbo is a little sluggish till about 3500 and then starts to pull pretty good. Never been anywhere near redline, but it is pulling way hard at 5000. The exhaust out the turbo is very quiet. The turbo itself is little noisey. It is fantastic on the highway. Just purrs at 70mph.

I think in a short race, the S1 would pull it very easy and the turbo could never catch up. Maybe on the highway it would be different. May have to race my buddy to find out.
