My review of the:
Windzone EK-1HD Tool Kit/ Essential Toolkit for Harley and American hybrids. (Fits most fork bags)
After carful consideration of making out of town trips on weekends on my sportster I felt it required to have a basic tool set to take along. I have several Craftman, Snap-On MAC and Matco tools, but really hate to see them get stolen off my bike. First thought was to build a kit with cheap emergency tools such as carried by Harbor Freight. After gathering a list of needed tools the total would run around $60-$75 Not too bad..... I them ran across WindZone Tool Kits. Originally I priced on thier website the EK-1HD Basic Tool Kit. MSRP and price ordered from their site was $69.99... After a little search on eBay I found a authorized dealer selling them for $49.99 Buy Now Price... Wow I felt that was a decent savings considering it came in a custome puoch and stated it would fit in most fork bags.
The Kit Contains the Following:
Contents of Windzone EK-1HD Tool Kit
3/8" Drive Ratchet
5/8" Spark plug socket
13/16" Spark plug socket
3/8-7/16" Open-ended wrench
1/2-9/16" Open ended wrench
5/8-3/4" Open ended wrench
10mm Combination wrench
Small slotted screwdriver
Small Phillips screwdriver
Slotted screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver
Locking pliers
7 pce. Torx set (T-10 -T-40)
Hex keys (9)
Tire pressure gauge
Spark plug gap gauge
Electrical wire
Flashlight
Mechanic's wire
Siphon hose
Electrical tape
Cable ties (5)
Spare turn / tailight bulb
Shop Towel
I ordered mine and it was here in 3 days. After inspecting the tools and kit in general I feel they are decent tool quaility for the price. The storage puoch fit perfect in my forkbag. I think for the price it is well worth the investment into dedicated emergency tools that would come in handy for anyone riding.

What about any extra nuts and bolts? I have a lawn care business and I learned to put different size nuts and bolts in the tool box, It has saved me alot of time, that would be spent going to buy a nut are bolt that feel off. Not that I plan to have nuts are bolts falling off my bike, but Im sure it happens?

Besides from the tools listed above I also recomend a few feet off wire, and a half roll of electrical tape and halfroll of duct tape with the cores removed and smashed flat to save room.
Other than that the best tool kit consist of A visa gold card, cell phone, stainless steel flask of your favorite whiskey, a pair of colored nylons and a colt 45 with two magazines loaded.
I beleive this toolkit is illegal in lots of places and possiby immoral, but if you can think of a situation that this kit cant get you out of ,,,I would like to hear it. :laugh :laugh :laugh

You can pavk just about any tool you may need. In case of an emergency you will need the tool/part you left at home. :D :D :D
I usually have only my credit card, cellphone and touring club member card (road-aid) with me. ;)
