You could lower it. Here is a place that sells an S3 lowering link. www.whaccessories.com/LoweringKits.htm That and maybe trimming the seat should get you flat footed.

Hagon sells an S3 short shock, but it's kinda pricey. ;)

I like both the Daytona and the Duc, both very nice bikes.

I am going to get a Duc one day, just gotta find a good enough reason to buy a 7th bike.

I just bought a '92 Suzuki GSX400S, which is a little 400cc Katana replica built for the Japanese market in the early 90's. The katana is bike #6.

My neighbor got a daytona 955 with modified fairing, streetfighter.
new cams, exhaust ++ about 170hp
should've taken a picture of the front though, awesome!
