Nightster fender

Does anyone know if a Nightster fender will bolt directly to a 2001? I know the frames are slightly different I just don't know how much.

I have seen this question asked on a couple other boards that I frequent and it is yet to be answered. I would like to know as well. Most people just chop the original since it is by FAR the cheaper way.

I think the fender is wider and wont fit the frame. a 160 tire has plenty of room in a rubber mount and barely clears a evo sporty fender. There are other options to get the same look. Use your imagination.
You could carefully tape off a stock fender and cut it. Most hack them straight but you could follow the lines of the nightster and get the same shape easily.
