Does anyone know where there is a list of standard/stock jet sizes for the Harley Big Twins? You'd think such info would be easy to find, I dont seem to be able to find such a thing on the web!

I'm curious why you're asking. Stock jetting is rarely optimal, and every bike is different, so you end up with different jets than stock usually. Is there a specific bike you're curious about or a problem with a bike, or are you just looking for references? --Chris Malc_F 17th June 2007, 18:17 Its just purely references Im looking for Chris, no specific bikes, just the big twins such as the Evo's and the Twin Cam bikes, better yet, a list of what jets would be needed to stage 1 the Big Twins. But at least If I had a list of stocks, the stage 1's presumabley are 1 up, such as from a 170 to a 175. chrishajer 18th June 2007, 07:30 Not true. The main jets are typically rich, the mid range and idle circuits are typically lean. So you would not be able to look at stock jetting and say that a stage I should have stock+1 jetting or anything like that. There is no list I know of. The parts books are the best reference i know of for jet sizes, but again, I wouldn't rely on them too much since they are jetted that way from the factory to pass emissions. Plus, there are no more carbs on Harleys :) --Chris |
