Well I finally made it back to the Forum! It has been to long to say the least! I just made a cross country move from California to DC. A little different over here. I don't even know where to start in the forum, but I have alot of catching up to do, and I am looking forward to getting back into the discussions.

Welcome back Guinness!!!! Glad to see you weren't gone too long. Where did you end up moving to in the DC area (I remember us talking about it a while ago)?

I am in coporate housing right now in Huntington Area. It looks like I can rent a good townhouse in the Springfeild area but I am still open to suggestions.
and Gary now that I am on the east coast I might have to try to make a ride up to NY.

Welcome back...and DAMN! :yikes

I don't pay that on my mortgage and I built my house three years ago! Look for something in the $1000 range...that's leaves you with $400-$800 a month for a couple of new 'projects'...right? :clap

Yeah but Ole in the DC area he isn't going to get something for 1000/month. It is damn expensive in that area.

Jeez you'll get sod all in the south of England for $1000 per month rent on a decent 3 bed house you'd be looking at nearer $3000(or more) per month

I was paying $1400 for a 1 bedroom apartment !!

daaaamn , over a grand to rent ? thats nuts , 375 - 500 for an apartment here 600 - 700 for a house . hell you can get a boarding house room for 275 here

but then again average wage is around 10 an hour here

Believe it or not I can get a whole lot less for the same amount in LA. I was paying 1575 for a 2br 2bth 1100 sqft apartment. At least in DC I can get a decent townhouse. Somtimes I miss living in IOWA :)

IOWA?! Yeah, but the riding along the coast and in Virginia? Spring will take your breath away!!! We'll all meet at your house when the cherries bloom. What was your address again?!
