....just had to see it on the bike and take pics ;) Here's a before and after of it. I got it 15 years old and stock, in need of some TLC. And since I got it........Lowered it first so I could reach the ground, changed the bars, new grips, pegs, signal housings, levers, put on a skull choke knob (my first tap and die project) polished all the dull aluminum, changed the front rim to match the rear, just put on and relocated some mini bullet lights, fabricated brackets from aluminum, rewired the fender, did the sprockets and chain myself (gotta love the manual/bible) I'd never done that either, fixed my oil leak, did the body and paint (that I've done) and a few little maintenance odds and ends I've forgotten I'm sure. Now I just have to throw my pipes back on, hook the chain up, and change my oil :tour
And yeah I'm proud of it! It's not gonna win any big bike shows but I did it MYSELF and that makes me happy. And of course it'll never be done now I have more ideas :rolleyes:
