The people going on this ride tend it push it and ride really hard and fast and my bike is still in the break in period. Decided to pass on this ride.

Depending on where in San Diego you are, it is at least an hours ride up the 5. A nice easy ride up the coast. I will post specific directions this afternoon, when I get home from work if you are interested.
