Well I just moved here to Fort Worth a few days ago because I lost my job in Florida and me and my girl always wanted to move out here so here I am. So I'm out here with no job, no tools or garage and my bike's not running. I don't know anyone except my girlfriend and her mother so if you happen to know of a place hiring (I'm a welder but willing to do anything) or want to do a little wrenching on an old ironhead or want to go for a ride once I get the bike running let me know cause I really don't know anyone here.

Welcome to DFW! Scary leap of faith, but I am sure it will work for you. I'm on the north side of DFW airport.

Went to Indeed, and there are a few welder jobs listed. It's a decent search tool.

How much do you have to do to get your bike running?

Looks like you may be getting close. I got an old bike running, and the mantra was fuel, spark, air. Hopefully when you go through the generator again, that nails it.

Let me know when you are up and running. There are some decent farm roads around FW.

Welcome to the Metroplex, Metal. I live in Arlington and I too have an old Ironhead I need to do some work on. Maybe our paths will cross. Good luck to ya!

I was stationed at the old Air Force base there. My wife is from there. Nice people. Hot as hell though. Being from Florida you will be used to it I imagine. Good luck
