I posted this in another section and got zero post so i will try here. I have a nightster with the taxes paid and wanna be in the 12's solidly with it. I was wondering about a dry shot on the EFI bikes. Can the FI keep up with a dry shot or no? I see some of the NOS kits come with a extra fuel pump but those kits are listed for carb'd bikes.
I'm 260lbs naked so I'm gonna need more power than most to get into the 12's. My buell XB9SL went 12.6 with me on it in the past but I was not very good at launching that bike. I have done some "practicing" on the street and I think i can 60ft this bike pretty good now. Thanks for any help.

I suspect the EFI cannot keep up with the dry shot without help. I haven't heard of anyone doing it yet. Maybe you'll be the first.

Dasmopar,

Your going to need to modify your FI to flow more fuel with a programable tuner. The FI throttle body may need some mods as well. You DO NOT want to go lean with the nitrious othewise you will grenade the motor.:(

You will also need a programable ignition like the Dyna Tec to retard the ignition when you hit the juice.

I think someone on the forum has experience with nitrious. He can give you some good tuning tips.

A good cam, ignition and exhaust will give you about the same results as the nitrious but, with much better reliability.

Good luck my friend.:)
