hey all...good---I put on my new forward controls and they work awesome!! also my new headlight too!!!
BAD!!$^%&I*! when i put on the forwards i had taken the clutch cable bracket that goes on to a bolt off and forgot to put it back on, so the cable doesn't flop around and stays to the frame. when riding around and testing the new forwars everything went good....UNTIL.... i came back home and left again. When leaving somehow my clutch cable got inbetween and under my front fender and the front tire!#$^%^ so needless to say i couldn't turn at all and had a VERY hard time getting it unstuck. NOW here is the big problem..inside the clutch housing i am hearing a clunking noise and if i let off the gas all the way then rap on it for a sec it clicks /cluncks??? the clutch does seem like it could be slipping a bit also but not a whole lot to be super noticable.Also the little click that is normaly there when shifting gears is ALOT louder now too! but there is definite noise now in the clutch case... ANY SUGGESTIONS ???did i possibly stretch the clutch cable? do i need to take this thing apart? is my shift rod possibly to loose or to tight when i put the forwards on and i didn't notice till this happened? i am racking my brain here and missing the fireworks !!!:censor :censor :censor
