Who's going?
Looking pretty good a few of us will be going to PD13. We're thinking about leaving Thu. evening and riding till dark and spend the night near Buffalo, then head to Port Dover in the morning.
Map looks like we should take HWY 3 out of Fort Erie. Is that a good idea? Any problem with crossing the Peace Bridge early in the morning? It looks like it might be a 2 hour ride from there.
Of course then we will try and find camping near the party area.

Just under 2 hours from the peace bridge (which is 15 minutes from my house)..Theres another post going about this. We have a group meeting at the Peace Bridge on the Canadian side at 6:00AM.

Take route #3 till you get to the town of Jarvis, then take a left on route 6.

If you get there after 10ish...You'll have a long walk into town as the bikes park in town, and when that gets filled up they start parking along the road into town

Where is the other thread? I did a search before starting this one. All I found was an old one from April.

It looks like there will be camping in town. Any idea if we'll be able to get a site in there somtime Fri. morning?

Its been too long since i crossed at the peacebridge (too expensive with a truck) but I'm pretty sure there are signs.

Take exit2 in Fort-Erie off the QEW, thats should be thompson south, next street should be garrison which will become hwy 3, turn right on it.

You'll find it..Its the main street out of Fort Erie...Garrison Rd

Went to Port Dove Friday 13th

Thousands of bikes and people. Ran into Forum members steve(Force50), Mike(Canroc) and saw Iron Mick ride by me in the crowd. I think this was a record crowd. Bikes lined up for miles getting into town. A great time had by all. Next year its Friday 13th in June....

What time did you get out of there?
(Oakies failed to mentioned that his bike was parked on main street surrounded by that mass of people. It would be next to impossible to get out of there. Fortunately I arrived at 11:30 and was forced to park away from the action and walk a bit to get to it.)

Wow, I still don't get it. I guess I'll have to try it out for myself before I judge it, but it just seems like one big 3d lineup.

I got there around 10AM. Parked by Silver Lake Park. Met Casper and talked for a while then my wife called and I had to go play Mr Mom earlier than planned.

I tried to go for a walk on Main street before leaving but it was just too crowded.

The weather was nicer than for the winter ones(:doh )I have been to but I think I like the colder ones better. I tend to dislike huge crowds.

I can't believe nobody has posted a pic of the girls on the second floor, hanging out the window, showing their ta ta's.

I saw em. But there's no way I was capturing any evidence of that. I had to show my pictures to my wife you know! ;)
