View Full Version : pics of my buds chopd 750
lucky13 18th May 2005, 21:21 I said I would post some pics of my buddys chopped honda so here it is. It started as an 02 spirit 750. He made the hardtail section and chopped off all the fake covers on the motor, scotch brite all the chrome off, and painted a bunch of it black. Most of the bikes parts were hand made by him except all the factory stuff of course. In my opinion this is about as raw as it gets, thats what a chop is all about. If you don't like it cause it's a honda, save it cause I could give 2 sh*ts and a !!!!! about the "it's still a japper" b.s. This guy is 26 w/ 3 great kids and he works his ass off. He can't afford a hd so got ahold of this and has roughly 5k in the whole thing. He says he wants to chop a vtx next because it would be totally different from what everyone else is doing or would expect to see, but I'm trying to talk him into an old shovel I found for 6.5k. Anyway, just wanted to show the potential of some of the hondas out there.
All I got to say is "I LIKE IT!!!!". That, to me, is the definition of "chopped".
NXC1978 18th May 2005, 22:09 Wow! I was looking at the pictures before I read the post (like to eat dissert before the main course I guess) and I was shocked when I read it was a honda! Coolest Honda I have ever seen. Kicks any Shadow in the nuts sooo hard!!! :smoke

dabronco 19th May 2005, 02:10 Like it or not, anyone who puts some of themselves into the modification or customization of a bike is WAY ahead of the guy who just goes down and throws money at the 'most expensive custom billet barge made by someone else', they can find. I for one, like it/ them! Some of the coolest bikes out there, (IMHO), are the yamaha 650 twins turned into 'street trackers'.

TNsportster 19th May 2005, 16:19 That bike has a great stance!
Nothing wrong with ANY bike that you built yourself.
Very nice looking ricers. Brings a question to my mind though since everything except the engine is made in the garage in good ol' USA, should they still be called rice? I think they should just be called "bad arse" no other label need apply.

Hey Lucky Its Still A Japper :D Just kidding.. Thats one bad A$$ ride I would be proud to own it if it were mine. Who gives a crap if its a honda or any jap bike, whats important is that its on 2 wheels. :) Way cool ride he did a great job on it.
