Hello all this is my third post to this forum great site, lots of knowledge for us newbies to the sportsters.

I am in the process of a 200mm big boar products conversion. (among other things). I went a head and got he rear wheel all centered in the frame using the string/sharpie method cut some spacers and tightened everything up just to realize the wheel will not run in the center with the pulley supplied with the kit. I read the fine print when I bought it, knew it wouldnt line up perfectly but it is almost touching the opposite strut when the belt is lined up. it looks like I will need at least a .950 offset front pulley to get it centered (Came with a .750 offset). or switch to some sort of chain drive. I understand there is nothing wrong with it being a little off, but I want to chop the rear fender down as far as I can and it just wont look right. does anyone know where I can get a new offset pulley or an offset front sprocket, chain and rear sprocket?

also, when I bolted up the new swing arm with the stock bearings installed there was alot of play in it side to side. I took it apart thinking I missed a sleeve or something, and just put the bolt through the mounting hole near the back of the engine and sure enough there was play there, is this normal?

thanks,

Bringing back an old(er) thread because I want to do the same thing and I'd like to know what the outcome was from the fitment problems. Thanks.

I used the 3/4" offset pulley to put a 180 tire on my Sportster. You will need the 1" for a 200mm.
