Most knowledgable members who aren't wrenches got that way by reading.
Reading our Forum alone is a great way for noobs to learn. But the info
is spread out and tedious to find, and not laid out in a progressive manner.
Back in the old XLF format Bert had an "ARTICLE OF THE WEEK/MONTH".
We should have a forum dedicated to recommending printed reference info.
Members could post recommendations on books, articles, tech info.
They could tell you how to get said books or article, reprint an article themselves, ETC.
When a noob has a question about work or spec's on his bike we tell'em
"Get the FM",or "RTFM". But a lot of times they don't understand a whole
system...For example; The Harley lettering system, Overall performance
projects,ETC. When those widely general questions come we could just
them to the 'BOOKS-ARTICLES-INFO' Forum.
Just an idea.
