I don't have a garage and a cover helps stop some rust but not all. I live in Okinawa Japan a subtropical island. Everything rusts here. It takes alot of time to keep the rust at bay. I am thinking about a teflon coat. I am wondering if anyone has had an experience with this. Is it a good idea or a waste of money.

I've teflon caoted internal engine parts....

I'd be ceramic coating external parts for corrosion resistance tho
