If the SE has a dedicated Tach signal output then you can order one for 1999-2004 TC88 and it will work great. Thank you for your interest, Justin rfranz1952 28th July 2007, 16:41 Justin, do you know if upgrading from my stock ignition module to a Daytona Twin-Tec TC88A module will have any effect on the tachometer? Suposedly, the TC88A is a "plug and play" replacement for the stock ignition module. I would hate to screw up my tach by installing a different ignition. jgaither 29th July 2007, 02:03 Justin, do you know if upgrading from my stock ignition module to a Daytona Twin-Tec TC88A module will have any effect on the tachometer? Suposedly, the TC88A is a "plug and play" replacement for the stock ignition module. I would hate to screw up my tach by installing a different ignition. I have not tested with it; however, I believe there should be no problems. Because it would need to produce the same digital signals that the stock unit does inorder to have an operational stock speedo and tach. You won't screw it up; and if it does, we'll get you working again. Justin rfranz1952 19th August 2007, 04:49 I have not tested with it; however, I believe there should be no problems. KC8YSG 28th August 2007, 23:24 Well the screamin egale pro selectible race ignition does have a dedicated tach wire. Also it looks to be the same as the dyna2000. jgaither 29th August 2007, 02:37 Well the screamin egale pro selectible race ignition does have a dedicated tach wire. Also it looks to be the same as the dyna2000. In that case, then you can purchase the Aftermarket microTach+ now and use it without the adapter. I can run off a dedicated Tach signal. Thanks for your interest, Justin KC8YSG 29th August 2007, 03:12 I'll be buying a chrome one soon as i get some extra cash. P.S It would be cool if you could make it flashed for a shift light. jgaither 29th August 2007, 18:03 I'll be buying a chrome one soon as i get some extra cash.
