Anyone have these bags? I did a search, but was unable to find anything on them. They are the HD Synthetic bags ... thinking about puttin them on my 08 883C, but hope to get some input and maybe see a couple pics of them on the bike before spend the $$$ on em .... Thanks!

In my humble opinion, $399 is too much to pay for synthetic bags. Have you looked at the synthetic bags at Leather Up (http://www.leatherup.com)? I have a pair from them that only cost $80. They look nice and are holding up well. I don't have any pics of them in my gallery, but I do on my Flickr page. I'll try to upload one for you later today.

I could not agree more! The price tag is very pricey for what they are .. however, in my past experience and through many sets of different kinds of bags, I have yet to find any that fit A) as close to the bike and B) with the lines of the bike as well as factory bags. I have had saddlemen bags on it before and they were bulky and stuck out further, etc. than I liked .. I could have bought 3 for the price however ....:wonderlan

I have these bags and I love them.Being synthetic, they're pretty much waterproof. They're narrow, but long. You have to move the turn signals completely off the fender. They are an investment, especially with the price of the turn signal relocation kit thrown in,but to me they look really good on the sporty.

Jeeze.Iwas going to recommend the HD Leather throwovers as they don't need the signal relo but I just checked the prices. Those suckers have gone up from $249.00 to $359.00 since I last looked. The bags you are looking at have a pretty large capacity of 2000ci.
I got the Sportster series III bags from Don's Cycleware for like $80.00in the end. I just could not bring myself to spend that kind of dough on some luggage.....I mean it's not Louis Vuitton after all.:D

I got a set of Talisman bags and mounted them on easy brackets. Really love them except next time I'll get the model with the quick release straps. Pain in the ass unbuckling them.
