ive been toying with the rss abilities

is there a way to get a rss of a single thread or only the parent forum?

an rss feed similar to how the subscription works with email

i think it should be something like

external.php has a thread.threadid as a field but not an argument

am i going about this wrong?
could a slight mod to the external.php be added to enable this as an argument?
