BLASTers:
Put a XB12 motor(engine) sprocket on ...
The XB12 sprocket is 38T ...
The OEM BLAST sprocket is 34T ...
This raises the gearing 4T so on the INTERSTATE the engine does not sound like a Metric Bike as in wound up tight ...
Anybody else thought of this ???

Some Of The Blasts Have 35 Teeth, If You Put The 38 On It, You'll Need The Different Chain As Well. Plan On Slippin The Clutch Or Boggin On Take Off Though.

Just joined up here, but was wondering where I'd find such a sprocket and/or the level of difficulty to do this. I love having such low gearing in the city on the P3, but I find it quite a hinderance on the highway, as well. I hate to have the bike screaming doing 70+...can't be good for the engine, I'd guess. I'm fairly new to the bike world, but am not afraid to use the service manual (thank God I have that thing). I'm trying to fix the bike up to full running order, so this would be a great improvement. Thanks, man.
