Guys,
I own a 2000 Sporty 1200 that only had 34 miles on it when I got it last fall. I have found some TSB's online that I thought were relevant to my bike and since it had such low mileage I suspect the TSB's were not done. I called the nearest dealer yesterday and he ran a search and told me there were no safety recalls for my bike. Are there different classifications of TSB's?(ie safety vs other)

there is a difference between a recall and a tsb. A recall is a federal manddate
to repair a safety issue with a vehicle . a tsb is a technical service bulletin
to help out techs on problems that are somewhat common in field.A recall is a must do thing a tsb is help for you and the tech. hope this help you out I'm
a service manger for a dodge dealer and I get this question daily.
