First time ever drag racing. Ran an 11.789 first run and consistent 11.78s all night. I was the only harley but I beat a Busa,GSXR 750, and a CBR 600rr to the 1/8th mile. Then they went around me. It was fun though

Pretty good number there.
And that away to show those hyper-bikes what yo american made Hd can do!
BTW, How do you felt you did with your launches?

great numbers ...and post a 60 foot cause every tenth you can shave there should shave 2 tenths of your 1/4 mile time.....

Thanks guys, my best 60 foot was a 1.759 and worst was a 1.800. Ran consistent all night. I felt I launched OK. Its not the best cause I've got pretty high suspension and I'm more set up for twisty roads than the drag strip. Overall I was very happy and had a lot of fun.

What gearing ya using? primary and final

I had the 883 gearing when I first did the converion but these runs are all with the 1200 front pulley, engine sprocket, and primary chain. Stock 1200 stuff. I did that for some better top end while cruising. With the 88 inch I didn't need the lower gearing.
