Great service from this dealer when my drive belt broke after 7500 miles. This was the 3rd dealer I called, the first two were both backed up for 2 weeks in the service dept. and one dealer even told me it wouldn't be covered by the warranty. The other said it "might be" but I thought that sounded like a secret code for "get 'em in the door and then charge 'em $300 to get it back." So a service desk guy at Stamford actually volunteered to call HD for me and get it "pre-approved." I brought it in yesterday evening and it's ready today! Under warranty and in less than 24 hours! How awesome is that?! :clap

That is awesome. He was smart because he still got paid by Harley.

I have heard their service dept is great. Their sales dept was also really nice. That is one of the reasons I bought my bike from there, should be getting it any day now.

Great that you got it done under warranty. Sucks that you had to call three dealers to get decent service. My belt broke when the dealer was taking a test ride after the 1K service back in March. The tech had to push my bike back to the dealer. They fixed it in a couple of hours, luckily I was waiting for it otherwise I probably would have had to wait another two !!!!!!!!!! weeks for them to get around to fixing it. I love how you make an appointment two weeks down the road and have them take three weeks to get it done. No wonder there is so many Harley riders that do their own work! :angry
