I ordered a Memphis Shades setup from gopartsdirect.com. Pretty sure I saw the link here.

Man, I don't think I'll ever order from them again! Placed my order online at about 8:00am EST on the first. Well, here we are at the end of the business day on the third, and they still haven't shipped as per the order status on their web page. And, when I call to see what's up, they tell me customer service is closed until Monday.

So far, the service is pretty damn lame. I was told the parts were in stock, paid via Paypal, and nothing's been shipped in two business days.

Wish I knew of another vendor for Memphis Shades before I went through Parts Direct.

Shouldnt take that long, I purchased Tour master sissy bar pack and saddle bags from Sporttour.com ordered, shipped and recieved within 48 hours! now thats service.

I found that they are a bit slow too. I noticed they do not drop ship so if they have to get it, then we wait until they get it and then ship it to us. But hey, money saved is ....well money saved.

I've ordered from them twice and the products did take about a week or week and a half to get. When I ordered on the internet I don't plan on getting the items will fast. If I want it now I go to a dealer of some kind.

I snail mailed them a certified check (mad money,wife don't know,long story)for my pipes and a/c. Ryan called me the day he got the check and my pipes just came in (less than a week), the a/c isn't here yet so I may be joining you rant soon.

I ordered a corbin seat from them last year, and I received it within a few days. I was pretty happy with them. It all depends on if they got it in stock I guess.

Well, I just called them about the windshield I ordered on the first. They're telling me I should recieve it sometime around the 13th! I've got to run to UPS, and while I'm on my way I'm debating calling them to cancel the order. Anyone know any other Memphis Shades dealers, that would have the stuff in stock?

Ok, scratch that. They won't cancel. :censor They also don't have it in stock, either. :censor I *did* ask them if it was in stock when I placed the order, and I was told 'yes'. :wtf

So, they're shipping it from the factory to them, then to me. That's why it's taking about 14 days to get to me. This is ridiculous. Every other sales company in the world does drop shipment, and that's *got* to be cheaper than mailing it twice. :frownthre

These clowns get a big thumbs down from me. :rippedoff I don't like being lied to. Therefore, I'm voting with my cash and will *never* do business with them again, and will encourage others to avoid them, as well.

Same story... different part. I ordered some Progressive shocks from these people last year. Waited three weeks, then got the same story that they wouldn't cancel and the shocks were back ordered. Ended up taking almost 5 weeks for the shocks to arrive. If I remember correctly, they also have some type of "special handling charge" or some other BS that was tacked on my bill. My business goes elsewhere now... :frownthre

That's why I figured I'd post this mess, hopefully I can keep someone else from going through this.

If they were honest about not having the part in stock, I would not have ordered from them.

Oh boy, you guys are starting to worry me about this Forcewinder I ordered.

Hey, it finally showed up last night at 6:00pm. Windshield looks real nice, and man is this setup *light*. Will shoot pics when I install in an hour or two.

It only took two damn weeks. :wtf

I like the looks of this a lot more. I can easily see over it.
