I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on where to get interlocking rubber gym flooring. I'll probably be ordering around 130 sq ft or so. I'm looking for rubber... not foam or PVC.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Weo, I was at Home Depot and I saw....if I remember correctly....3' x 3' squares that were interlocking and I thought they were around $15 per. I thought about getting them for the same exact reason.

Check at livestock suppliers. They have heavy rubber mats used in animal stalls, some of which are interlocking. I did a quick look and some of them also carry specific athletic mats. I did a Google search on "rubber horse mats"

Home Depot and Lowe's have a very, very thin rolled rubber mat, PVC interlocking tiles, and colored foam children playroom mats... but no rubber interlocking floor mats.

actually what I saw at Home Depot was about 3/8-1/2" thick....that is pretty thick to me.

Thanks for the suggestion. :) That's great to know that I have an alternative source. A quick check online shows that Farm'n'Fleet has those products... unfortunately they cost about the same as the marketed gym rubber mats I've found by googling.
I'm going to give a call to some gym mat suppliers tomorrow. I figure I should pad the first 1'6" of wall too... hmmm.

It's possible that your Home Depot has something that the ones I've been going to do not. However, most of the 3/8-1/2" matting I see at Home Depot or Lowe's is foam, and I'd rather get rubber. But thanks. :)

Thanks. :) However, the price is a little higher than what I've been finding at some generic rubber gym mat/interlocking tile dealers. It seems like interlocking rubber tiles generally go for $2.90-$3.90 per SF no matter where I look. I'll pull the trigger as soon as I have my basement rewired. :wonderlan
