Nice paint! Subtle and classy. I've seen those kind of flames WAY overdone too many times. Yours NAILED the look.

Got a closeup of how you hid the coil? Mine's been bugging me with how VISIBLE it is!

Very nice, MWP! Not too gaudy in the least...love the paint, and I'm sure you get loads of compliments and comments! You have a good eye for tasteful custominzing! Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing...keep the pics coming! :D

the coil is simple, all you do is remove your horn, take your coil and shave the corners a little bit and slide it up through the bottom, then use the mounting screw holes in the horn holder to screw into your coil. actuall into the plastic mounting area of the coil with coarse thread self taping screws. reroute the wires and extend them and your done its about a 1 project tops.

I think it is time for a how to paint trufire flames. I want to do it on my bike but dan't know exactly where to start. I see you know how to do them well. I saw it done on Biker Buildoff and it looked simple the way he did it. Createx sells a kit for the colors and a video but I want to very on the colors so the flames are inside my flames. Can you give a how to with pics. I would love to see how it goes with the templates that are used for painting.

MW that bike looks very sweeeet!!!!!!! nice paint and all.
Just wondering who streched your frame out? Did you send
it away or did you do all the work yourself?

Been thinking about stretching my frame from the guys at
http://www.redneckengineering.com who can do it for less
than a grand.

we do all frame, stretching, airbrushing, and building inhouse, our website is just getting started. www.midwestmotorcycles.com and i have some pics in my gallery on clubchopper under same name of more of our paintwork, we also sell kits for paint much better than cretex its a ppg kit, and u can all the undertones and candies very reasonable. maybe i will post a little how to after we get this cubs bike done. until then i am swamped with 14 hour days fabbing, and we haven't even got to paint yet.
