OK boys, I need your picks of front tire manufaturers and series, so I can get a good tire on before Laconia. I've heard mixed reviews for Metzler and Avon. Is there Great performing tires for under $100? Thanx...

I've never heard any bad about Avon or Metzler.
Some might complain about wear on the sticky/softer ones
but that's what you get.
I like Avon myself, from hard to soft they are
Roadrunner
SuperVenom
Venom X
I also hear only good about the ME880's

I have had both the metsler and the venom and I prefer the venom, had better ride and the handling was nicer

Whatever tire you choise, it needs to match the rear tire, or you can have a grip balance probelm that can leave the bike unstable to ride.
The Dunlop GT501 is a great tire for performance, and at ADT wearhouse they run likem 75ish each.
These tires are American made units(Goodyear owns Dunlop) and are the tires Harley uses(Dunlops).
The two you asked about are good tires, but I think the 501 is a better tire and has the better tread pattern.
Just my opinoin.
