I would ride a Sporty like that..... I like the modern sleek look, but it needs to keep a vintage theme... like spoked rims!!! I really doubt Harley will go this route.. Shoot they don't even have an Aluminum frame for the Sportster..

Wait were talking about the same HD right? The company that is currently behind the technological curve by about 30 years. The only thing HD might incorporate in 2020 is the bar end mirrors. Everything else is wishful thinking. In 2020 sh!t will look pretty much the same. Look back 10 years to 2000 or 2001 models...change much, nah! If the year was changed to 2050 I might buy it a little bit more.

Haven't run across too many people that can accurately predict the future. Probably the closest is Warren Buffet, and he's made a bundle. Prince was going to party like it was 1999. The Mayan calendar ends in 2012. As long as the sun rises tomorrow, I'm good.

I like the Myan calender as it is a new beginning. Maybe Harley will be ahead of the tech curve and I just might hit the lottery. Hurry up 12-21-2012 I need my cash so I can take a trip to the 4 corners of the US. :tour

That "rendering" is an actual bike. The test ride was in one of my Hot Bike magazines. Cant remember who made it though.

I just hope they know the difference between "break" and "brake" in 2020.

I think its pretty slick. you can't do retro forever. Ford's retro mustang has just gotten a sleeker restyle too.

doesnt mean harley will do it though lol, in fact i doubt they will. but i hope they do. and bikes like this dont have to replace the retro, they can be sold alongside. Look at triumph. supermodern sportbikes AND retro cruisers. why not? besides this thing takes alot of styling cues that are in customized cruisers and makes em fresh and new. i dig this

**** apple though.

Better Apple than Honda. Look, I'm not a big fan of Apple, or, more to the point, Apple fanboys. Still, Apple is one of the best American design companies. I don't think we'll see the iHog anytime soon but I wouldn't completely rule out some consultation.:)

I'm for an XR1350. It would look like a 1999 Sport done up in factory racing colors with the following exceptions: xr750 style heads, inverted forks, factory rear sprocket/brake, aluminum xr750 gas tank, aluminum oil tank, aluminum/plastic fenders and light wheels. 110 ponies and 400 pounds. With a XLCR variant...............Somebody wake me up, I'm dreaming
