Broncodog 15th November 2004, 01:07 Been looking at a couple of types and I think I'll go with a pair from a softail. Has the right rise and I don't have to change anything. http://www.freestop.net/Flames.jpg FastFwd 15th November 2004, 11:56 Broncodog, Was the placement of the flames hard to do? cypher 15th November 2004, 19:08 I really like the silver on black! Those look nice. I've seen them at the swap meets (mounted on tanks) and I think they look good. Bikerdude 15th November 2004, 20:51 hey Broncodog..I'm STILL going to do the flames..just waiting til I stop ridding to do the paint job. Glad to hear ur still liking them and the responses have been good. Broncodog 15th November 2004, 23:37 Flames were a snap to put on, basic peel and stick. Just make sure tank is clean from wax and dirt etc. For the money ya can't beat it. Also a tip is to use hair dryer to make decals flexible and it will bend around tank real nice. lefty 17th November 2004, 19:39 Where do you get these "liquid flames?" slolane 17th November 2004, 21:51 That looks great, the silver really stands out! Bikerdude 17th November 2004, 23:02 I think Broncodog got them at www.jirehcycles.com also www.velocitystix.com has them as well. ebay from time to time had some also... Broncodog 18th November 2004, 02:13 correct Bikerdude :clap get them at jirehcycles for about 68 bucks! kbfarkas 31st October 2005, 02:44 Still runnin' these flames? How are the holding up. I just spotted them in my Jireh Catalog, they look Pretty Cool. rottenralph 31st October 2005, 02:51 For those that don't know, you can paint over these like a decal to get three dimensional artwork. I hve seen a couple of paintjobs over these and they are really neat. When is one of you going to give it a try. |
