Seat question

Anyone know if a LePera Bare Bones Seat to
Suit Harley Davidson Sportster Custom 1200XL 2004-2006
would fit a 883 1999 xl sportster if not whats the major difference..

At a minimum, the distance from the tab to the bolt changed in 04.

yeah the bolt hole for the rear is a good 4-5 inches back on the 04+, and I think the front mounting tab is different, I have our stock seats mine(03) and my girlfriends(05) down stairs, ill go check

As you can see the 03 seat had a female front tab and a flat pan, the 05 seat had a male front tab, a notch in the center to take a nipple that is on the bike and the front tab is quite recessed.
And yes they are both stock solo seats.

Gearhead1972 thank for doing that your right for sure no way that would fit looks like i'll have to keep a look out for 99 seat.
