For a bracket of 10.9 or slower run the stock frame...even down to 10.2. btw there are a few complete bikes for sale cheap here.

Thats funny i helped charlie out at the phoenix race this past year while i was helping jordan cruze on his new pro-stocker. Anyways the reason for this post is that i am thinking about developing a affordable chassis so guys looking to use something other than the stock chassis could get into. Do you think people would consider it? Either way i am going to build my chassis as a test bed for it and if it works than possibly offer it? Feedback would be great Thanks . Justin

Well it is good to see some interest in the frame as we have decided to go ahead and build them and i am almost done with mine it is coming apart this friday to be primed and painted. We are going to test the rest of this month in preperation for the AHDRA meet in phoenix the end of march. We have 3 more frames in the works. My reason for wanting to build these frames is i have a hard time putting all the money and time into a stock framed bike, I am sure you can go down into the 10second zone using a stock frame and stretched out swingarm but if you wanna go that fast i think it should be done on a purpose built chassis to be more consistent. After all we are bracket racing and consitency is what wins and that is what i hope to do with my bike using my chassis. I have more pics up on my website actionchassis.com There is also still more bracing to go into the chassis under the seat area just havent installed it yet.

Not sure where it went and now i cant get anything to load. Easiest way to see it will be to go to actionchassis.com and go to the motorsports page and look at the pictures there.

Not sure how quick it will go but i built a buell s-1 motor with n-6 cams moly pushrods and higher lift springs and a mikuni carb. I guess i will find out how fast on thursday.:banana

Well went and ran the AHDRA meet here in arizona this weekend and was very happy with how the bike ran. It ran a best of 11.31 at 116mph, not to shabby for a stock motor and some bolt in andrews cams. Going to run agin on friday night and try to get it down into the 10's. :smoke

Bike looks great! Keep us posted on your times. I would like to see a time slip to compare 60 foot,1/8, etc. I see a shift light & air sifter, what else do you have on it?

JstColli
3rd April 2008, 03:05
60ft 1.624
330ft 4.620
1/8th 7.149
mph 95.817
E.T 11.343
MPH 114.230

I think it has alot more to gain in the 60ft, and some more MPH at the big end. If i can get the 60ft times down it will help alot in the E.T. I have some new sprockets on the way and that should help.

This what it has for electronics.

What sprockets are you running? I am running high 10s/low 11s depending on the weather, 22 tooth up front with 52 in the back. My shift light comes on about 20 yards past the 1/4 mile mark in top gear. 118 - 119mph in the 1/4. Sounds like you may end up pretty close to that...

Had a great conversation with Justin by phone and I'm sold on his frames. He and I are on the same page as to what a Sportster/Buell based sportsman class racer should be so I'll be ordering one of his frames to replace my heavy old MC worx frame. Larry

I will shoot ya an email this week with the info on the frame. Hannibalmosh

Well went to the track this past saturday and did a little tuning and the quickest run of the day was 11.027 @ 112.5 and it ran that in second round and i lifted off the throttle about 80-100 feet before the finish line so i wouldnt break out ....but the bike was on a pass and still broke out by .023. Oh well i know it will run in the 10 sec zone now. Just have to go back this saturday night and get the slip to prove it!! Ill post up the 60 ft etc tomorrow.

Went to the track last night and it ran 10.99 , 10.96 and 11.03. Pretty happy but got some clutch work to do now, once i get that dailed in should be a consistent 10.90 bike. Sad part is by the time i get it all set the way i want it my stuff for the new motor will be here and i will be starting all over agin...oh well thats the fun of it..
