I tried this a few times, before I came on here to recommend using it! I feel comfy coming on, and telling you that this is well worth the money!

If you are like me, you know that drying a bike, in order to keep water spots off, is a time consuming thing, and can be a pain. I would rather be riding!

I have seen blow dryers (basically leaf blowers) advertised for $40+. At less then $20 at any walmart, you can use this, and let it drip dry! NO SPOTS!

You still need to wash it by hand, but do a final rinse using this, and it dries SWEET! I have lace spokes front, and rear, and this saves me a TON of time!

:clap

I wash mine often, so it has paid for itself already!

Thanks Shemp,

I was wondering if it really worked or was just more snake oil. I've been waiting to hear a real person say it worked for them. I want it for my black F-150 too, it's a royal pain to dry that big boy off

Back on the old site there were several positive posts regarding this thing when it first came out. A bunch of Sporty fans can't be wrong. I've yet to hear anything bad about the system. I'm hoping for one on Sunday.

I use it all the time on my Sporty. Makes cleaning a bunch easier.

I've got a black F-150 that I use it on. It works so well I actually wash the truck now.

I haven't yet had the nerve to spray my bike...hand washing only.

Wow - When I used it on my Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab, I only got about 2 washes out of it before the indicator on the rinse filter turned brown, so I save it for the bike.

Kinda spendy but it does work :D

Yeah, the only draw back is that the filters are made to be used for about 10 washes? Im assuming that they mean normal car size. If you wash a monster of a truck (such as a Ram 4X4 Diesel blah blah blah, like I have) it would only be good for about 5 washes!

The filter that comes with it (a teaser!) says its good for about 3 washes. I have gotten 3 bike washes, and 2 car was washes. That would about 5-8 bike washes? the relacements you buy (less that 5.00) says good for 10 washes. that would be about 25+ bike washes?

Worth it for sure!

Guess you don't venture to the vtwinforum (http://www.v-twinforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55680&highlight=clean) then. Mixed opinions about it over there..........

Anyone have a link to this thing? I never heard of it.

Try it you'll love it. Saves time and works better than I ever expected. Depending on your water the filters can last less or more than expected. I can get the same results in 1/4 of the time and that gives me more time to drink beer and stare at her.

Bought it....love it. Works better than the spot free Harley Wash I bought when I bought the bike.

I am glad you posted this, I have been wondering since it came out if it is worth it. I will be getting one. I will look on ebay to see how cheap I can get one.

Zena, you know they don't know what they like over there! They have to be told what to like!

Well, I am a car guy. I have tried the system on my classics and the soap sucks. The rinse filters are worth the price of admission though. The soap removes any wax you have on your car or cycle. To each his own. If you like it use it. Personally, I use S100 on the engine and wheels and good old Mequiars car wash on the painted surfaces. The final rinse is done with the Mr Clean rinse. It does work nicely. A good car wash soap will preserve your wax job.

:laugh I spend enough time on this forum, if I hung out on another I'd have no time to ride :tour . I did check out that thread though. It's still overwhelmingly positive. The one dude probably got a bad one or didn't follow the instructions (some with Y chromasomes are afflicted with this defect). Here's a link (http://www.homemadesimple.com/mrcleanautodry/index.shtml) : It looks like it's worth a try, especially if you've got hard water.

In my area we have VERY hard water! You cant just let anything drip dry, or it will look horrible.

Like someone else said, if you less hard water, you can get even more washes out of it. Its the rinse your really paying for. The final rinse is what goes through the filter. I rinse it, like if I am painting a car. Kinda like a spray gun, then let the sun do its thing!

Of course I wax it every couple washes. That only takes a few minutes. Theres not a whole bunch of paint to wax.

Im glad that everyone was so interested. Before I bought mine, I did a search on here to find out if anyone had tried it. I dont remember finding anything, so I bought it to try out, and pass on what I found. After a couple wshes, I thought I should throw it out here, just in case anyone was wondering! Glad some of ya were!
