I`m working on a 2000 Buell M2L,I`ve made a lot of the bodywork myself-seat and tank-out of fiberglass. It`s pretty cool looking-if you squint it kind of looks like a short Vincent, which is the look that I was after.I don`t have a camera yet or I`d post some pics.My question to everyone who might know is,are there harley wheels that would, without significant modifications bolt on? 17"by5.5" wire wheel, with pulley and disc. The front is no problem-I think I already have it.Would 16" wheel work? It`d be a little slower,ok.

I don't think that harley made a 17"er but they do make an 18

Thomas, feb.,2005 american iron magazine has one of the sharpest sportsters i've seen. It's has suzuki 17" wheels and suzuki inverted forks. The back rim was 5 & 1/2 or 6" wide with a avon 200mm tire.
