I love the two front head set-up. Too freakin' cool. Do you mean the dual-carb set up? langner91 25th September 2007, 21:48 Do you mean the dual-carb set up? Look at the pictures closely. The intake is on the back of both heads and the exhaust is on the front of both heads. Now, go out and look at your Sporty. The front head has the intake on the back and the exhaust on the front. Just like this bike. Now, look at the back head on YOUR Sporty. The intake is on the FRONT and the exhaust is on the BACK of that head. That is what allows you to run ONE carb. Your Sporty has two different heads. One front, one back. This XR has two heads that are identical. THAT is why it has two carbs. Too cool. gearhead1972 25th September 2007, 22:24 They are not 2 front heads, they are XR heads. look at the angle the exhuast comes out on an 84 front head here (http://i20.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/ag/62/4b89_1.JPG) nothing like the xr head |
