Ihr Englisch ist gut. Viel besser als unser Deutsch! Bitte stellen Sie einige Bilder von Ihrem Fahrrad auf.

Wow...let me see what I can remember from my high-school days...
Guten Tag, mien name ist Mark. Ich lieben Harley-Davsidson. Es ist sehr gut! Wer ist das papierkorb? Ist das in deine bibliotek?
What do you think???
As far as your bike goes, the 883R is a great starter. You can also look at things like clip-on handlebars. I think those seat pans from Storz look great, so if the budget allows you shoud do it.

It's all about what "you" like. Like they say in the marine industry... "whatever floats your boat". Personally I like the 16" rear and 19" front. One of the first things I would do is lower the eyebrow and head light.

Depends on what look your going for....If you like the modern 'Street Fighter/Cafe look like Dug's photos, then stick with the 16"......Me, I'm 'Ole Skool'.....I would go to an 18" rear wheel/tire combo.....narrow tire over a wider one would be my choice also....with a set of classic wire wheels. Do a search of the web under 'cafe racer'. Several manufacturers will pop up. You'll find some nice Tanks and Tail pieces out there.....some that'll bolt up to the 883 and some that you could possibly modify. Possibly go with a 1/2-3/4 fairing or just one of those headlight fairings....depends on how deep your pockets are. Post some pics so we can follow your progress. HrdlyDangrs

Dug's bike is a real nice example of a modern cafe/streetfighter...personally I like the classic look more. I recently saw a sportster cafe in a british calssic bike mag, very nice.
Big black 5 gallon tank (like a Norton featherbed type), standard sporty forks, wire wheels (19" front, 18" rear) with ally rims. Clip on bars with adapters to go from 7/8" to 1" for the Harley switchgear. Chrome headlamp and fork gaiters. Single seat, SRM Koni rear dampers and chain rear drive (I think). Had a custom made black megga 2-2 pipes as well. Really looked like a Norvin from years ago (Vincent engine in a featherbed frame).
I'd be tempted to fit dual discs to the front....

I like the one you can get parts from at www.mecatwin.com - a modern XLCR Evolution! :) :) :)

Airtech-steamlining.com has all the parts to do a traditonal XLCR type, and Storz has all kinds of fenders and tanks (theirs are more of a flat-track XR theme). I think a big 60's style tank like Whiffy mentioned would be different - you don't see many of those around.
